Our Story

A little Slice of Warm & Welcoming

The Cozy Counter began with a simple idea: the little moments, feeding a sourdough starter, whisking matcha, wiping the counter after a good bake deserve designs that make you smile. We started sketching playful art for the things we reach for most: kitchen towels, aprons, mugs, and tote bags. One drop turned into many, and a small stack of samples became a cozy collection.

What we make

We focus on useful, giftable essentials you’ll actually use every day. Towels that dry fast. Aprons that fit comfortably. Mugs that feel good in your hand. Totes that carry the farmer’s-market haul. Each piece features artwork inspired by three themes we love: Sourdough , a nod to slow mornings, first feeds, and oven spring. Baking Charts, clean, readable conversions so you don’t have to stop mid-recipe. Matcha , calm greens for mindful breaks and tea-time rituals.

How it’s made

Small-batch is our heartbeat. We work with trusted print partners to produce consistent, durable prints using water-based inks. That means crisp detail that holds up to real-life washing, wiping, and reheating. We aim for easy care: cold wash, gentle cycle for textiles; dishwasher-safe ceramic for mugs.

What’s next

We’re starting with Sourdough, Baking Charts, and Matcha, and we’ll keep adding thoughtful collections as we grow. Have a design you’d love to see? Drop us a note, we read every message. Thanks for being here and cheering on small-batch creativity. We can’t wait to see our pieces in your kitchens and routines.— The Cozy Counter
